Civil Discourse and The Media

Social media streams. News bites. Advertisements. Music. Media surrounds us in almost every waking moment of our lives.  

What shapes our beliefs? How do we find truth in the multi-faceted issues of our society? This program takes participants on a Journey to learn more about themselves and helps them understand viewpoints that differ from their own. By the end of the project, participants will be able to talk about critical issues with empathy and confidence.
