One Step at a Time: A Framework for Understanding the Need for Culturally Responsive Education

Critical Race Theory consumes the media, and educators from all sides face backlash, criticism, and punishment for their actions and beliefs. This workshop steps back to look at systems of oppression in the United States and how race became the fiery focal point of our times. Educators will leave with a refreshed lens about oppression in America and tools to examine their practice using Culturally Responsive practices.

Participants will receive three Pennsylvania Act 48 hours of professional development.
